Removal typically runs £2,200 to £7,000 for a domestic garden, and a survey £150 to £500, both confirmed on site.

Where the law stands

Having knotweed is not an offence. It matters for a sale, a mortgage or a boundary, and the RICS 2022 standard grades each case from Category A to D. We record the category the way a lender reads it.
